GHS had an exceptional showing at this year’s VASE UIL Art Competition! We had 23 students with 41 art pieces compete. Out of those 41 pieces, one qualified for State, two were finalists, 37 received a gold medal award and four received a silver medal award. Not only do they create exceptional art but there is a writing portion and a formal interview process as well. Congratulations to Mrs Perkins and all of the competing GHS art students!
