Amiah Padron, 9th grade, won the GISD Christmas card design contest! Her art is featured on the cover of the 2024 Gainesville ISD Christmas card. Senior Lyndsie Tan-to won first place for the GHS campus and her art is also featured on the card. Congratulations!
TAEA is proud to announce the selection of five new leadership scholars for the 2024-2025 Leadership Cohort. Our very own GHS Visual Arts teacher Mrs. Robin Perkins is one of the five! The TAEA Leadership Scholar Cohort Program is designed to work in tandem with the TAEA Leadership Institute to provide the membership of the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) with innovative, relevant, structured and supported professional growth focused on leadership skill sets to advance art education. The Leadership Scholars were selected from a large pool of applicants and will learn in depth about leadership in art education, service and structure of the Association and how they can grow professionally. The TAEA Leadership Institute is part of the Association's Strategic Plan for its members and future growth and impact.

2024-2025 Senior citizen passes (60+) are now available at the admin office at 800 S. Morris. Please bring a valid ID. Senior passes are only valid for one school year. It serves as free admission into any home athletic event. This is also honored at most away games, with the exception of playoff games and tournaments.
Student athlete passes and GISD staff badges serve as an individual entry ticket.
